Came here for solo lunch date via the recommendation of a coworker. As soon as I walked in I was instantly welcomed by the hostess and another employee. I loved the decor and size of the restaurant; very trendy yet homely vibe. I was seated very quickly; en route even the bartender was very nice and engaged in conversation.
Martin was my server and I was completely satisfied with the service I received from him. He was very patient and helpful when I was deciding what to choose. He was very attentive and also towards the end of my experience gave me some background on the chef (Calvin) and the brunch times and dates. Thank you Martin!
I honestly wanted to try everything on the menu! Being that I live a pescatarian lifestyle, I loved that the menu had plenty of options for me.
Let me just tell you, I was in awe of the curation of the dishes as they were described on the menu. This is truly Asian X Southern fusion cuisine at its best!
I stepped outside of the box, and order the lobster wontons. I typically don't like the mix of something fried with cream cheese, but I tried it anyway. At first bite I was in love. I have never tasted something so delicious and all of the flavors literally created a party in my mouth! For my main entrée I got the Thai fried fish curry plate. This included a very nice size piece of fresh fried fish (I forgot to even ask what type of fish it was, I'm just gonna call it a good catch!) , on top of coconut curried vegetables, and a side of rice. This this was so delicious and so fulfilling. I ended up having leftovers to go. It is definitely something that I would order again. Another huge plus about my whole meal: my food was a very nice and hot when it got to my table and stayed hot.
I highly recommend this place if you want your tongue to taste some different flavors, and experience some very fresh and well thought out recipes. I will definitely be back to experience the brunch and dinner menu also. I am so satisfied with my first visit here
